Three design concepts for RSPCA company

Before starting the three design concepts, I have used the idea generation technique to get an overview over the brief.

The task of this process was to design a mobile app prototype for RSPCA company.

the first step was analysing and deconstruct the brief so that it is easier to find goals understand better about the target audience.

first step of the process was to know what the goal of the app.

the goal of the app is to allow the user to have an education on their pet or their future pet such as:

  • Correct diet
  • Exercise Runtime
  • pet services and grooming

2nd step is who is the audience.

  • pet owners
  • veterinary
  • Disable people with pet (Dog)
  • Old people with pet

3rd step when and where

experience from audience perspective

  • Location
  • Home
  • in the park
  • in the car

reason: having issue breathing, not eating enough, Nutrition issues, obesity, losing weight drastically.

Need: need a veterinary service, nutritionist, trainer, grooming services.

step 4: Create possible solution.

A. create an app that will help the target audience and educate the target audience about their pet.

B. veterinary and general knowledge on propose platform.

C. Contact of nearby veterinary and direct appointment through the app

D. Booking system

Step 5 choose best solution through best effort vs impact ratio.

  • b and c can be created easily but show sign of low impact on the target audience.

step 6 solve:

the target audience will be presented with these features on the app.

  • create an account as well as create a profile for their pet.
  • home feed will provide the user with useful tips on their pet and encourage interaction between same breeds.
  • book appointment for pet
  • features available grooming services.
  • online booking and consulting through the app ( Covid-19 option)
  • pay for the appointment through the app.

The beginning of Ideation sketches

These sketch was created in order to have a brief idea of how the concept will be like before making a high end fidelity of the prototype.
